Free tools

Explore the tools. No account needed.

Rewrite or humanize a draft, inspect or clean Unicode, tidy em dashes and Markdown, compare texts and count words. Every tool takes your own text and works without an account; each page says whether it runs in your browser or on the server.

Rewrite

AI Text Rewriter

Rewrite your draft with the same AI editor as Rewrite. Three successful anonymous rewrites are shared with Rewrite and the humanizer; account runs use input words.

Analyze

Invisible Character Detector

Find eight kinds of invisible characters in your text, with Unicode codes, exact positions and a highlighted view. Runs in your browser.

Clean up

Unicode Cleaner

Clean selected invisible characters, compare before and after, and copy the result. Joiners are preserved unless you choose to remove them.

Analyze

Text Diff Checker

Compare two texts with whitespace preserved. Inspect added, removed and modified blocks side by side, locally in your browser.

Clean up

Markdown Cleaner

Normalize Markdown or convert it to plain text. Preview the cleaned result and copy exactly what you see, without sending your draft anywhere.

Analyze

Word & Character Counter

Count words, Unicode characters and sentences as you type, with a clearly labelled token estimate. No account or upload needed.

Rewrite

AI Humanizer

Rewrite a draft in natural register with the shared AI editor. Same free trial and word balance as Rewrite; nothing runs locally.

Clean up

Em Dash Cleaner

Keep one em dash per sentence and turn the extras into commas, semicolons or colons. Closed-up ranges stay intact; spaced hyphens are opt-in. Runs in your browser.

Analyze

AI Detector

Ask the AI for a verdict on whether a text reads like model output, with quoted evidence and no percentage. Sent to the server.

What these tools do not do

They do not promise detector evasion, and they do not rewrite an argument. What they read and change is register and characters, measured against our published taxonomy, nothing more.

Which models watermark the text they generate is a separate question, with a different answer for each provider. See the watermark database.

What the engine is, what it keeps and for how long are questions about the product rather than about one tool. Read the general FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

Which tools can I use on my own text?

Every tool on this page accepts your own text; none of them shows a fixed sample in place of your input. Each tool page says, before you paste anything, whether the work happens in your browser or on the server, and a sample is only ever loaded when you ask for it.

Which tools process text in my browser?

Tools labelled “Local processing” at the top of their page inspect, clean, compare or count text in your browser, without uploading or storing your input. Tools built on the shared GenPolish AI service send a submitted draft to the server and use the same rewriting service and workspace as Rewrite; their page says so above the editor, and nothing is sent until you submit.

Do I need an account or JavaScript?

The browser-only tools need JavaScript, but no account. The AI editor offers a limited anonymous trial; signed-in runs use your available word balance, and its form also supports submission without JavaScript through Rewrite. Following a link between tools, or to the editor, never transfers your text.
