Terms of service
These terms describe the service as it runs today, including the parts that are not connected. They will be revised as it changes.

Who publishes this site
GenPolish is published by Bahri Labs, a société par actions simplifiée with its registered office at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France.
Registration number 109 283 416, R.C.S. Paris. Establishment number 109 283 416 00013. VAT number FR57109283416. Registered on 28 August 2026.
This site is hosted by OVH, on a virtual private server in its Gravelines datacentre in France. The registered address and telephone number of the contracting OVH entity are read from our invoices, and will be added here rather than approximated from the datacentre address.
The share capital and the name of the publication director are not yet available from the national register and will be added here rather than estimated.
What GenPolish does
GenPolish rewrites drafts produced with the help of a language model so that they read less like machine output, and it shows every change before applying it. Nothing is applied without you.
Five text utilities run entirely in your browser and need no account. A watermark database and a set of articles cite their sources and carry the date they were last checked.
What is connected, and what is a preview
Connected and real: rewriting, signing in, revision history for account holders, and deleting a history entry.
Previews that store nothing: saved documents and document history, team management, API keys, editor and notification preferences, invoice downloads, editing your profile, email address or password from settings, and deleting your account.
A preview screen is labelled as one where it appears. We list them here because a preview described as a feature is a claim, and we would rather not make it.
Using GenPolish without an account
Anonymous visitors get three successful AI rewrites, shared between the editor and the AI Text Rewriter page. Moving between those two pages does not grant a second trial.
The five browser-only tools have no limit and require no account, because they never send anything.
Accounts
One email address per account. Passwords must be between ten and one hundred and twenty-eight characters. Verifying your address is optional and does not restrict access. A session lasts up to seven days.
You are responsible for what is done through your account while you are signed in.
Words, plans and payment
Account allowances are measured in input words. Monthly words expire at their cycle boundary; purchased words do not expire; bonus words follow their own expiration dates.
An upgrade uses a prorated quote and requires confirmed payment, without resetting the period. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the scheduled period end.
Payments are not enabled today: no offer is configured, no charge can be made, and no price is shown when the catalogue is absent. When they are enabled, invoices and payment methods live in a secure payment portal, and no card details are collected on this website.
What we do not promise
We do not sell detector evasion. Rewriting text does not prove who wrote it and does not guarantee any detector result.
The register score describes how machine-like a text reads against our published taxonomy, and nothing more. It is not a probability of provenance.
The detector recognises eight kinds of invisible character. It is not a complete Unicode scan, and finding one of them identifies neither an author, nor a model, nor a statistical watermark.
Your text stays yours
We claim no rights over what you write. Rewriting it does not transfer anything to us.
We do not use your text to train a model. This is an undertaking, not merely a description of the current setup: it holds whether or not a rewriting provider is enabled later.
How you may use the service
Use it for text you have the right to submit. Do not attempt to circumvent the request limits, the trial quota or another account’s access.
We may suspend an account that does so, which ends its sessions. We would rather state the one measure that exists than publish a list of prohibitions that nothing enforces.
Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time. Deleting your account from the interface is not connected yet; the same gap is recorded in the privacy notice.
If we suspend an account, its sessions end immediately.
Availability
We make no availability commitment and publish no status page. The service is not yet open to the public.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, and the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules that apply to consumers.
No consumer mediator has been appointed. We would rather say so than name one that does not exist.
